July 20 - Soldotna, AK to Anchorage, AK - 150 miles

The biggest challenge was to get back through the construction that we had ridden through two days ago.  However, it was not raining in the construction area as it had been before, so we got through in relatively good time and without too many handling difficulties on the bikes.

This was time to change the oil in our motorcycles, so we got fine cooperation from "Anchorage Honda" to let us get our oil from them, but change it ourselves, since we got to their shop late in the day.

We just had to have pictures taken with this Bear, in downtown Anchorage.

In the evening, we met some friends Norm has known through the FAA, and they were gracious enough to take us for a "guided tour" of Anchorage after dinner.  Norm had been in Anchorage 10 years ago, and I had been there just overnight about 6 years ago, so it was enjoyable to get a new view.
