Deane, Norm, and Kay's Motorcycle / RV Trip to Northern Canada and Alaska

August 13, Salmon, ID to West Glacier, MT - 275 Miles

Oops; We took a wrong turn, wound up in Mongolia, and Deane and Dave had to sleep in  a "Yurt"!  You know, those tents the Mongolian people live in on the Steppes.

(The RV park we stayed in had two Yurts for those people like us not having an RV to sleep in.)

Today was a beautiful ride, first along the Salmon River in Idaho and then along Montana rivers, as we worked our way through Missoula, Montana. Then on to the town of West Glacier, Montana, in preparation to riding the "Going to the Sun Highway" through Glacier National Park tomorrow.

We stopped at the border of Idaho and Montana, at "Chief Joseph Pass", and met several other motorcyclists riding the same beautiful route.
